Workshop Offered to Businesses On Safety, Security

MANAHAWKIN – A free security initiative, the Homeland Security Hometown Seminar, for local businesses will take place 1-3 p.m. June 7 at the Stafford Vol. Fire Company, 133 Stafford Ave.

The seminar is presented by NJ Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, in cooperation with US Dept of Homeland Security, Southern Ocean Chamber, Ocean County Prosecutor and Stafford Police.

The workshop will help businesses keep their communities safe and secure. The sponsors promise the workshop will bring “real answers” to the discussion on how to prepare for and respond to security threats.
