Two-Car Crash Injures Three, One Baby

  STAFFORD – A two-car crash injured three individuals and a 10-month old baby over the weekend, police reported.

  On June 2, at around 2 p.m., Stafford Police responded to the area of Route 72 east near Stafford Square for the collision.

  According to police, 53-year old Sandra Branham of Orwigsburg, PA was traveling east on Route 72 in a Dodge Charger. Branham was driving in the middle lane when she attempted to move into the left lane while approaching the traffic signal at Stafford Square.

  Upon switching lanes, Branham’s vehicle collided with a Nissan Rogue, driven by 35-year old Anthony Iliadis of Bayville. Iliadis was traveling east on Route 72 in the left lane with his wife and 10-month old baby in the vehicle when the crash occurred. As a result, both vehicles were pushed off the roadway.

  Stafford EMS responded to the scene to provide treatment.

  Branham, Mr. and Mrs. Iliadis and their 10 month old baby all sustained minor and non-life threatening injuries in the incident. They were transported to the Southern Ocean Medical Center for treatment.

  Police noted that all parties were wearing their seatbelts when the collision occurred.

  Both vehicles also sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene.

  Branham was issued summonses for Improper Lane Change and Careless Driving.
