WARETOWN – A man was arrested on drug charges and another on a DWI during recent motor vehicle stops in Ocean Township.
On December 21, Ocean Township Police arrested and charged 35-year old Israel Perdomo-Vazquez of Toms River with a DWI following a motor vehicle stop investigation on Route 9 and Birdsall Street. Perdomo-Vazquez was also issued motor vehicle summonses for DWI, reckless driving, unlicensed driver and maintenance of lamps.
On Dec. 22, police arrested 41-year old Keith Stockum of Forked River following a motor vehicle stop investigation on Route 9 and Seneca Boulevard. Stockum was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of CDS and weapons offenses.
Both men were processed and later released on their own recognizance pending scheduled court hearings.
