OCEAN COUNTY — As a winter storm prepared to blanket New Jersey, one Ocean County Lottery player struck it rich just hours before the first flakes fell.
A single ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday night’s Pick-6 drawing to capture a $12.3 million jackpot, according to the New Jersey Lottery.
The winning numbers were 07, 09, 10, 17, 25 and 30.
The winner opted for the cash payout of $5,602,036.
The ticket was sold at ShopRite #619, located at 501 Route 9 in Waretown, which will receive a $10,000 retailer bonus.
Lottery Executive Director James Carey said the timing made the win especially memorable, calling it an unforgettable weekend for the player and expressing optimism for more major jackpots in the year ahead.
The prize is the Lottery’s largest so far in 2026 and marks the fourth win of at least $1 million this year. In 2025, Pick-6 jackpots were hit four times, including a $32 million win in January and a $22 million prize in October.
With the jackpot claimed, Pick-6 resets to $2 million for Monday’s drawing.
In the Double Play option, which costs an additional $1 and offers prizes up to $250,000, no tickets matched all six numbers. The Double Play numbers drawn were 04, 09, 24, 35, 39 and 41.
