Police Offer Rx Drop Box In February

LACEY – Residents will have a safe and effective way to dispose of unwanted and expired medications in the township in February.

The Lacey Township Police Department will be setting up its “Project Medicine,” a prescription drug drop box, from 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 2 at Urgent Care, 539 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor.

While residents can dispose of pills, the drop box cannot accept syringes or liquids.

A special police officer will be inside the Urgent Care that morning if anyone should have any questions or concerns.
