Police Looking For Two Suspects In Car Burglaries

  BARNEGAT – Barnegat Police are investigating two car burglaries that occurred in the middle of the night between Feb. 2 and Feb. 3 on Old Main Shore Rd.

  According to police, the burglars made out with several items including credit/debit cards, one of which was used to purchase a Lyft at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Feb. 3. Another victim’s credit card was used at the Wawa on Bay Avenue shortly after at approximately 3:45 a.m.

  Police have recovered surveillance footage from the Wawa and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two suspects and the vehicle captured in the footage. The suspects are male and female, police said.
