LACEY – Bring your friends and family to Lacey Township’s “Meet the Officer Day” on June 2, hosted by the Lacey Township Police Department, Lacey PBA Local #238 and the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation.

This free event will be held at the Lacey Middle School from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Join us for food, refreshments, music, games, giveaways, activities, and prizes, including, but not limited to bicycles and an iPad.

Come out for a day of fun and to meet the police officers and staff of the Lacey Township Police Department.

“Meet the Officer Day” is part of the ongoing COPs Collectible Card program which is currently in Week #6. Each officer will have their specific Cop Collectable Card with them at the event.

Participating students will be able to have their collection confirmed and turn in their completed and verified forms. Students with completed forms are eligible for the grand prize drawings in June. The participating schools include Mill Pond School, Lanoka Harbor School, Cedar Creek School, and the Forked River Elementary School. Blank checklists will be available at the event.

This event is made possible with help from student volunteers from the Lacey Township High School and staff members of the Lacey Township Recreation Department.
