TOMS RIVER — A Stafford Township man has been arrested and charged in the overdose death of a Beachwood man.

Jobe M. Bizzarro, 27, was charged today with strict liability drug-induced death for a Dec. 5 death. He was also charged with manufacturing, distributing or dispensing heroin and fentanyl, and possession of CDS.

Steven Large, 56, was found dead in his Beachwood residence that day. Authorities discovered Bizzarro had sold Large heroin earlier that evening. Toxicology reports found that Large had both heroin and fentanyl in his system at this time of his death.

Bizzarro was arrested Jan. 16 by members of the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, Beachwood Police Department, and United States Marshal’s Service.

He’s being held in Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
