Lacey Police Make A Slew Of Drug Arrests In One Day

LACEY – Lacey Township Police were busy with drug-related arrests on Aug. 12.

Police arrested John R. Moore, 27, Jackson, who was the passenger during a motor vehicle stop at Parker Avenue and Mill Street in Forked River.

Moore was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after being processed.

The driver of the vehicle, who police did not name, was issued tickets for speeding and having CDS in a motor vehicle.

Police were called to CVS in Lanoka Harbor for a male reportedly under the influence. They arrested Joseph A. Bombardier, 28, Toms River, at the scene. He was taken to police headquarters and charged with possession of a prescription legend or stramonium preparation, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic needle. He was released.

Another Toms River man was arrested in Lanoka Harbor after police responded to a reported dispute on Laurel Boulevard. Matthew T. Tanfield, 32, was charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic syringe, and was taken to Ocean County Jail.
