LACEY – The Recreation Department is teaming up with the Historical Society to combine the annual Apple Festival with Lacey Day for a fall-themed, fun-filled Apple Fest @ Lacey Day on Saturday, September 30 from 12 to 4 p.m. at Gille Park.

There will be family-friendly “old fashioned” games provided by the Historical Society, fun craft activities sponsored by the Home Depot, demonstrations by local vendors, community booths, fire truck rides, an apple pie eating contest, and more.

Vendor Bingo gives everyone a chance to enter a drawing to win a door prize. Bingo card spaces will be filled in with paid vendors ready to talk about what they do for the community. As you go around to each of their booths, they will mark your card. When it’s full, you can add your name and enter it into the drawing. The winning bingo card will be notified the following week.

Sponsors and community partners such as Anthony’s Pizzeria and Grill, Fusciello’s Butcher and Deli, Home Depot, Immediate Care, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Lacey Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Forked River and Walmart helped make Apple Fest @ Lacy Day possible.

For any questions, contact the Lacey Township Recreation Department on Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 609-693-1000, ext. 2203.
