BARNEGAT – One of Barnegat’s very own will be making a special appearance on The History Channel this week. Rachel Dubiel will be featured on the March 21 episode of “Truck Night In America” at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Rachel is one of five truck owners competing for the grand prize of $10,000 and the famed title of “Truck Night Champion” on Thursday’s episode. Tune in to cheer Rachel on and support a member of your local community!

In its second season, Truck Night In America is a competition series “featuring five drivers in their personal customized trucks and jeeps going head to head in three challenges, each testing a different vehicle attribute: speed, strength and handling,” according to The History Channel.

Challengers show off their skills not only during the challenges, but also between them. Competitors re-engineer their trucks in-between to prepare for the next round.

“The last two finalists standing then take on a three-mile, truck killing obstacle course known as “The Green Hell,” which challenges trucks and drivers to fly off jumps, climb a mountain of crushed cars, and tear through a snake-infested swamp,” according to The History Channel.

Tune in on March 21, 10 p.m., to see whether Rachel makes Barnegat the new home of the “Truck Night Champion”!
