LACEY – Gille Park Skate Park will continue its series of Friday evening events with “Friday Night Lights” on July 13 at 6 p.m., courtesy of the Lacey Township Police Department, Lacey Township Recreation Department, the Lacey Municipal Alliance, and the Lacey Municipal Police Foundation.
From 6-10 p.m., residents can come enjoy Tom & Dee’s Italian Ice and live music provided by a DJ starting at 7 p.m. The lighting for the event will be provided by the Lacey Township Police Department and our local Fire Departments.
Not only this, but a mobile gaming trailer will be provided by “Party Crashers” from 7-9 p.m., where kids can play age appropriate games. You might recognize the mobile gaming trailer from other Gille Park Skate Park Evening Events, Lacey Day Events, and other events throughout Ocean County.
The Lacey Municipal Police Foundation has partnered with Tom & Dee’s Italian Ice to share the cost of providing one small free Italian Ice to each child/young adult who comes to this Friday Night’s Skate Park event.
All skate park users will need to sign in and then they can get one ticket for a free Italian Ice.
The skate park is for skateboards, scooters, and in-line skates; no bicycles. Don’t forget to wear your helmet at all times!
Future skate park evening events will be held on September 7, September 21, October 5, October 19, and November 2.
These events are free of charge.
