LACEY – The family of a missing Lacey Township man is asking for your help in locating him. Stewart Vaughan, 23, reportedly went missing on Wednesday June 20, according to a social media post by family member Louise Mary O’Brien.

O’Brien said that Vaughan “vanished from the Washington street area of Toms River,” after being dropped off at the Ocean County Library.

Vaughan is 23 years old with numerous tattoos, one being a large tattoo with pink roses and the name Joan Hicks on his right arm. He was last seen wearing black Adidas pants and black sneakers.

O’Brien noted that police tracked his phone to the Washington Williams Street area of Newark late June 20; his phone is now dead and he has no money or ID on his person.

“We are worried sick,” wrote O’Brien, who also noted that Vaughan suffers from depression and addiction. He had recently completed 10 months in a rehab facility.

Having already checked hospitals and shelters in the Toms River and Newark areas, the family has still been unable to locate him.

“Prayers he is at a friend’s home,” she wrote. “If anyone wants to help us with making up fliers and distribution, we would be more than grateful.”

She urges anyone with information to contact the Lacey police at 609-693-6636.
