STAFFORD – The anticipated opening of the newest Chick-fil-A location on Route 72 will finally be welcoming guests this week.
It has been confirmed that it is slated to open on March 17.
“It’s official and the date is set!” the company posted on Facebook. “We will be opening on March 17! The long-awaited time is approaching fast! We cannot wait to start serving Manahawkin and all of Stafford Township!”
Chick-fil-A lovers have been eagerly waiting for its arrival after the business was first introduced to the Stafford Planning Board on October 24, 2017. The Board approved the plans on March 6, 2019.
The Manahawkin location is owned and operated by Matthew Baals, a Stafford native. He previously spent 15 years in the real estate industry. While he was looking for a career change, he was chosen as the operator of Chick-fil-A Manahawkin.
The store will have about 140 full- and part-time employees.
“With the opening of this new restaurant, I look forward to building meaningful relationships in Stafford Township,” Baals said in statement. “At Chick-fil-A Manahawkin, we are committed to creating a culture of care for our team members and providing our guests with a remarkable experience, serving them great tasting food with Chick-fil-A signature hospitality.”
