LACEY – Lacey Township School District is expected to appoint Assistant Superintendent Dr. Vanessa Clark as the new superintendent, following the retirement of former superintendent Craig Wigley.
Clark will be appointed at tonight’s Board of Education meeting, July 16.
Although passed over for superintendent in the past, Clark has held the position of assistant superintendent for quite some time. The Board chose to replace Wigley with someone already within the district, after his sudden retirement back in May.
Clark will be receiving a four-year contract and a salary of $188,581.
