LITTLE EGG HARBOR – Over the weekend, a black bear was spotted around the Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis in Little Egg Harbor, police said.
Police could not confirm the exact location. The golf course in located in the Mystic Island section of the township.
This isn’t the first time a black bear was seen in Little Egg Harbor. In summer of 2020, a bear was seen walking around a Stafford Township shopping center and was later spotted in the Parkertown section of Little Egg Harbor, according to police.
The public should not approach the bear, but call Little Egg police at 609-296-3666.
