Bank Robbery Under Probe, Police Seek Suspect

STAFFORD – Police In Stafford Township are searching for the man who allegedly robbed the Wells Fargo Bank Saturday morning.

Police tell Jersey Shore Online that the incident happened at 10:40 a.m. at the bank in the Stafford Square Shopping Center.

Officer Christopher Fritz said “the investigation revealed that a male, described by the bank teller as possible Asian resemblance and wearing dark pants, dark jacket and a camouflage ball cap entered the bank and approached the teller with a note demanding cash.”

Fritz added that no weapon was brandished and after leaving the bank, the suspect walked west through the lot toward Captain Randolph Blvd.  No vehicle was observed.
