Bank Robbery Reported In Lacey

LACEY – There’s been another reported bank robbery in Ocean County, this time in Lacey Township at Kearney Bank on North Main Street around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The numerous scanner sites covering the county have reported that both Lacey Township Police and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department are on the scene.

Reports said a slim-built white male, approximately 5’8″, was wearing either a gray or black hoodie, a gray shirt and gray gloves, black sunglasses and a bandanna over his face.

No weapon was shown.

He left on foot in an unknown direction.

Lacey Police Detective Brian Flynn is the investigating officer. He is being assisted by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office CSI and K9 Units, and additional officers/detectives from the Lacey Township Police Department.
