NEW JERSEY – Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players in Ocean and Union counties scored big over the weekend, matching all five numbers in separate Jersey Cash 5 drawings to claim jackpots totaling more than $800,000.
The Ocean County win came Sunday night, when a ticket worth $160,000 was sold at Sunoco, 406 Route 9 in Waretown. The winning numbers were 22, 31, 32, 38, and 40. The Bullseye was 40, and the XTRA multiplier was 02. Eleven additional players matched four out of five numbers and the Bullseye to take home $500 each.
Just two days earlier, a Union County player captured a $664,971 jackpot in the Friday drawing. That winning ticket, sold at Stop & Shop, 219 Elm Street in Westfield, matched the numbers 06, 19, 24, 34, and 41. The Bullseye was 34, and the XTRA was 02. Thirty-one other players won $500 each for matching four numbers and the Bullseye.
Each retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning tickets. These marked the 56th and 57th Jersey Cash 5 jackpots of 2025.
The top prize has now reset to $150,000 for tonight’s drawing.
