Take The Dog To The Ballpark For “Bark In The Park”

LAKEWOOD – It’s about to be one of those dog days of summer – literally – at the annual “Bark in the Park” at FirstEnergy Park, 2 Stadium Way, on Sunday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., rain or shine.

The event is hosted by Beasley Media Group radio stations 100.1 WJRZ and 95.9 the WRAT and includes a day of free and fun activities for pets, including Silly Pet Tricks, a Pet Parade on the field and a Doggie Adoption Showcase. Local humane societies, rescue groups and animal shelters will be on hand to help you chose the right dog to adopt.

The Lakewood BlueClaws will face the Charleston RiverDogs at 1:05 p.m. Lawn seats cost $10 and a special Pooch-Pass for $2 guarantees leashed dogs and their owners a special seating area to watch the teams play ball.

Christy Springfield for 100.1 WJRZ and Jimmy Steal for 95.9 WRAT will be broadcasting live from FirstEnergy Park.
