Replacement Ballots Available In Ocean County

  TOMS RIVER – Election personnel will be available during extended office hours for people looking to get a replacement vote by mail ballot, officials said.

  If you lost your ballot, or if it was damaged, or if you did not get one to begin with, visit the Mancini Room of the Ocean Library, 101 Washington Street in Toms River. The Mancini Room is the lecture hall on the first floor, between the Dunkin Donuts entrance and the entrance to the library itself.

  The hours of operation will be October 28-30, 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. In addition, the Mancini Room will be open Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It will also be open on Monday, November 2 from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

  County Clerk Scott Colabella confirmed to Jersey Shore Online that there have been 222,209 mail-in ballots received as of October 27.

  According to election archives, there were 280,409 ballots cast in the 2016 general election.

  By point of reference, there were 401,209 registered Ocean County voters in 2016. Colabella said that number is up to about 424,000.
