LAKEWOOD — Three Lakewood men were arrested after police said a yearlong investigation into crystal methamphetamine distribution ended with multiple search warrants and major seizures.

Lakewood police said “Operation Honey Pot” targeted homes, vehicles and several people. Authorities seized suspected cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, firearms, U.S. currency and several vehicles pending forfeiture proceedings. Additional suspected drugs are awaiting laboratory analysis.

Geovanni Torres De Los Santos, 32; Juan Torres Flores, 31; and Mauricio Garcia Monterosa, 42, all of Lakewood, were charged with multiple offenses, including drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, weapons offenses and money laundering.

“This operation is a direct result of the hard work and coordination between our Street Crimes Unit and our law enforcement partners at every level,” Police Chief Gregory H. Meyer said.

The investigation was led by the Lakewood Police Department Street Crimes Unit with help from multiple local, county, state and federal agencies. Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be filed.

Juan Torres Flores and Geovanni Afredo Torres-Delossantos have ICE detainers against them due to their illegal status.

All charges are accusations. The defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
