OCEAN COUNTY – The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office launched its new website today, highlighting breaking news, press releases, community outreach, employment opportunities and special announcements.

The new website can be found at OCPONJ.gov.

“Our new website has been created with the user’s experience in mind and is easy to navigate on mobile devices, desktops, laptops, and tablets,” Prosecutor Billhimer stated.  “After many starts and stops, we were finally able to finish this project utilizing the expertise of an outside vendor.”

Prosecutor Billhimer noted that the OCPO has been utilizing to social media to disperse information to the public, which it will continue to do with the help of the new site.

“It is unfortunate that the important work of this office has not had a presence on the internet. Our lack of a website since the beginning of my administration has lead us to utilize social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. We will continue to maintain our presence on those social media platforms, but the information will now be pushed out from our website,” Prosecutor Billhimer added.
