Ocean County Drug Bust Seizes Heroin, Cocaine, Four Arrests

  TOMS RIVER – Two individuals from Seaside Heights and two from Toms River were arrested on various drug charges following a drug bust that yielded raw heroin, “crack” cocaine, and marijuana, announced Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

  On March 21, law enforcement officials from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, Ocean County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, Seaside Heights and Toms River Police Departments executed no-knock search warrants at two motel rooms in Seaside Heights and a residence in Toms River.

  The searches found raw unpackaged heroin, heroin packaged for resale, “crack” cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia associated with the manufacture, production and distribution of heroin. 

  Those arrested and charged in the investigation:

  • Rayvon Thomas, 33, of Seaside Heights, was charged with Knowingly Maintaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility; Possession of Heroin Over One-half Ounce with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Heroin in a Quantity of Less than One-half Ounce with Intent to Distribute; Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin in a Quantity of Less than One-half Ounce; Possession of Heroin; Possession of Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Thomas remains in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

  • Tamika Tims, 34, of Seaside Heights, was charged with Knowingly Maintaining a Controlled Dangerous Substance Production Facility; Possession of Heroin Over One-half Ounce with Intent to Distribute; Possession of Heroin; Possession of Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Tims remains in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.

  • Kareem Thomas, 37, of Toms River, was charged with Possession of Heroin; Possession of Cocaine; and Possession of Prescription Pain Medication without a Valid Prescription.  Thomas was processed and released pending a future court date.

  • Jasmine Worthy, 25, of Toms River, was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Cocaine. Worthy was processed and released pending a future court date.

  This drug bust was the result of a month-long investigation into illegal drug activity in Ocean County by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, Seaside Heights and Toms River Police Departments.
