OCEAN COUNTY – Authorities are currently investigating the death of a woman in Lakewood Township that was reported to police on Friday morning.
According to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer, several law enforcement agencies are at the scene of an apartment in the township including the Prosecutor’s Office, the Lakewood Police Department and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department.
Jersey Shore Online as well as other media outlets were told that the probe is ongoing and more details will follow.
The Lakewood Scoop was the first to report the story and they have an inside source saying the deceased woman is in her 40s.
