Minority Vs. Predator Strikes Again, Foils Another Local At Five Guys

TOMS RIVER – Despite being warned by local authorities to “stop it,” Rashawn Bass, who runs the YouTube channel Minority Vs. Predator, helped catch another alleged predator Sunday night and it was streamed live on Facebook.

Jersey Shore Online was alerted of the incident as it happened live outside the Five Guys on Route 37 in Toms River.

After questioning the man for a few moments, officers from the Toms River Police Department arrived and questioned the suspect. He originally claimed he was meeting a friend who was in their 20s.

According to Bass and his earlier questioning of the suspect, the man thought he was there to meet a 14-year-old girl. Bass said he had the chat logs to prove it.

Toms River Police Spokesperson Jillian Messina, employees in Five Guys called their department and the incident is currently being investigated by the Toms River Police Department and the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

We are awaiting word if the suspect was arrested.

Bass, who goes by the stage name Minnow, told Jersey Shore Online last week that he’s been doing this for about four months. The reactions from people have been a mixed bag. Most give him praise while some question his methods and safety.

We are awaiting more details from law enforcement on this new case and as soon as we have information, we will update the story.
