HOLMDEL – Two Little Egg Harbor residents were arrested in Holmdel on drug-related charges, among others.

Alison Montalvo, 36, was arrested and charged with receiving/possessing stolen property (a 2015 Ford Focus), possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper possession of hypodermic syringes and driving while suspended. Montalvo was also wanted by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear and had active warrants from Ewing Township and Pleasantville City municipal courts.

The passenger, Daniel Ruckstuhl, 34, was arrested and charged with unlawful taking of means of conveyance/knowingly riding in a stolen vehicle, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper possession of hypodermic syringes. He was also wanted by the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear and had active warrants from both Manchester and Hamilton Township municipal courts.

Both were taken to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

At 8 p.m. Nov. 9, a Holmdel Police patrolman attempted to stop the 2015 Ford Focus on Route 35 North near Union Avenue. The Focus showed an expired temporary registration tag. Montalvo at first refused to pull over, but eventually did about a half-mile down the road. Police discovered the tag was fraudulent, and the vehicle stolen from a business in Hammonton.
