WASHINGTON, D.C. – A town hall originally scheduled for March 13 in Seaside Park will change to an online tele-town hall, Congressman Andy Kim said.

The town hall will be a time for Kim (D-3rd) and health officials to update people on the coronavirus outbreak.

In order to sign up for the tele-town hall, visit kim.house.gov.

“The health and safety of our neighbors across Ocean and Burlington counties is the most important thing. I’ve chosen to follow guidance by our health care professionals and move our town hall to a format that doesn’t put people at risk,” said Congressman Kim. “Our focus on this town hall will be the coronavirus outbreak. Every day, my office is getting questions on how best to prepare and what this could mean for New Jersey. I look forward to continuing that conversation on our tele-town hall to make sure everyone has the information they need to stay safe.”

Officials will discuss coronavirus and other health issues such as efforts to lower prescription drug costs and opioids.
