Beat The Streets Breakfast Fundraiser At Applebee’s

JERSEY SHORE – HAVEN/Beat the Streets, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting families in crisis throughout Ocean, Monmouth and Atlantic Counties, will be hosting a breakfast fundraiser on Saturday, July 22 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Applebee’s in Toms River, located inside the Ocean County Mall on Hooper Avenue.

Tickets cost $15 and proceeds will benefit individuals and families throughout Ocean, Monmouth and Atlantic counties who find themselves in a housing crisis.

HAVEN/Beat the Streets has helped over 500 families in 2016 and are on pace to help even more families in 2017. Assistance comes in the form of temporary emergency housing and permanent relocation assistance. They also assist families with shut-off notices from utility companies.

HAVEN/Beat the Streets was founded in 2011 by William Southery and Paul Hulse, and was awarded the 2014 Humanitarian of the Year Award by the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation for their work with homeless families.
