STAFFORD – Ashley will celebrate the opening of a new 26,000-square-foot furniture showroom in Manahawkin on October 10, with giveaways, promotions and activities planned for customers.
The store, located at 712 East Bay Avenue, will offer visitors a chance to win a portion of $25,000 in Ashley gift certificates during the grand opening celebration. Guests will also be able to participate in the Ashley Cash Cube and shop special opening-day offers.
The location is owned and operated by Abdul Ayyad, whose organization operates 62 other Ashley stores in the region.
Ayyad said the company hopes the new location will introduce Ocean County shoppers to an updated Ashley retail experience featuring a wide selection of furniture and home furnishings.
The Manahawkin showroom uses Ashley’s 7.0 store design, which features an open floor plan and coordinated room displays. The displays combine furniture with lighting, rugs, wall art and other accessories to give shoppers ideas for furnishing complete spaces.
Furniture and accessories are available for living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas, home offices and children’s rooms. The store also carries upholstered furniture, leather pieces, recliners, mattresses, occasional tables and other home accessories.
A mattress section features products from Ashley Sleep, Nectar and Tempur-Pedic.
The grand opening will also highlight Ashley Luxe, a collection offered at the new showroom.
Ayyad said the company has assembled a local team and designed the celebration as an opportunity to introduce the store to residents throughout the Manahawkin and Ocean County area.
The Ashley showroom is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
