SOMERSET COUNTY – A Somerset County man has been sentenced to five years in prison after he was caught with hundreds of images of child pornography, announced US Attorney Craig Carpenito.

Lomere T. Walls, 27, of Franklin Park previously pleaded to one count of receipt of child pornography. Walls was sentenced today in Trenton federal court.

According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court, Walls used a peer-to-peer file sharing program on his computer to download videos and images of child sexual abuse. Between July and November of 2016, law enforcement downloaded dozens of videos of child pornography from Walls’ computer. A November 2016 search of Walls’ home discovered 149 videos and 92 images of child sexual abuse on Walls’ computer and phone.

Walls admitted that he had been actively searching for videos and images of child pornography, which he had previously saved on his computer.

Walls has been sentenced to five years in prison as well as five years of supervised release.
