Gusty Winds Continue Into Afternoon

The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management has said river flooding and high winds and gusts will continue Wednesday.

The strongest winds will hit the region Wednesday late morning and afternoon, with 20 to 30 mph winds and gusts up to 50 mph. Gusty winds may continue into the evening.

A gale warning is in effect until 6 a.m. for Atlantic waters and the Delaware and Raritan bays.

River flood warnings caused by Saturdays heavy rains are also in effect. Visit water.weather.gov/ahps/ for details.
