EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – A young girl suffered injuries after falling off a swing ride at a popular New Jersey amusement park.
Police confirm the incident at Storybook Land in Egg Harbor Township happened on Friday. It involved the Out on a Limb swing ride.
The girl, whose age was not known, slipped out of her seat and fell onto a concrete surface below. According to multiple news reports that were also confirmed by the authorities, she suffered moderate injuries and was treated at a local hospital and released.
[adrotate banner="278]The ride remains closed pending inspection by the state Department of Community Affairs, and the cause of the incident is under investigation.
Police also said that officials with Storybook Land are cooperating with police during the investigation.
