HOWELL – A Howell cleaning company is partnering with a national nonprofit to provide free house cleanings for cancer patients in Monmouth and Ocean County communities.
Two Maids of Howell, owned by husband-and-wife team Samir Dave and Seema Doshi, has joined Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit that connects residential cleaning companies with people undergoing cancer treatment or facing cancer-related care needs.
Through the partnership, Two Maids of Howell will provide free cleaning services to two cancer patients each month for two consecutive months. The service area includes Howell, Jackson and nearby New Jersey communities.
Dave said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to helping local families during difficult times.
“My wife and I firmly believe it’s important to be there for our community and to support people going through challenging circumstances,” Dave said. “Partnering with Cleaning for a Reason is a true priority for us at Two Maids. If we can make life even a little bit easier for cancer patients who are facing so much, then that is the very least we can do — and an honor we take seriously.”
Doshi said the goal is to ease one daily burden for patients and their families.
“This partnership allows us to bring comfort into the homes of those who need it most,” Doshi said. “A clean, peaceful, and healthy environment can make a meaningful difference for cancer patients — whether they are undergoing treatment, recovering from surgery, or receiving hospice care.”
Cancer patients of any age, gender or diagnosis may apply for free cleaning services at cleaningforareason.org.
Two Maids of Howell opened in December 2025 as part of the national Two Maids franchise. The local business offers residential cleaning services using child- and pet-friendly products and employs insured, background-checked cleaners. The company also offers online booking and a pay-for-performance model.
The Howell location is also a member of the Howell Chamber of Commerce.
Cleaning for a Reason works with more than 1,400 residential cleaning companies across the United States and Canada. Since 2006, the nonprofit and its partners have donated more than $23 million in cleaning services to more than 65,000 cancer patients.
Two Maids has been involved with Cleaning for a Reason since 2011. Since then, Two Maids locations have provided cleaning services to 2,846 cancer patients, with donated services valued at $980,539.
