FREEHOLD — Freehold Raceway Mall is heading into Black Friday with a major lineup of new retailers, restaurants and entertainment options after what officials describe as a transformative year for the shopping center.

The mall will open at 7 a.m. on Black Friday, with some department stores and select retailers opening at 6 a.m., according to mall management. Holiday hours and details are available on the mall’s website.

Throughout 2025, Freehold Raceway Mall added a wide range of fashion, lifestyle, fitness, dining and family-focused businesses, offering shoppers more choices heading into the holiday season.

New openings this year include Dave & Buster’s, DICK’S House of Sport, Dry Goods, Freehold Athletic Club, J.Crew Factory, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, Läderach Switzerland, Lidl, Mango Thai, Puffy Cotton Candy, Qi Balance Spa, Urban Planet by Charlotte Russe, and Warby Parker.

Several additional openings are set for early 2026, including Jack & Jones, JD Sports and Kids Empire.

“2025 has been a transformative year for Freehold Raceway Mall,” Senior Property Manager Frank Lucia said in a statement. “From fashion and sports to wellness, dining, and family activities, our goal is to create a place where the community can shop, gather, and enjoy something new every visit.”

Mall officials said they expect strong turnout for Black Friday and the rest of the holiday shopping season.
