Three Arrested In Possession Of Drugs Near Pine Lake Park

MANCHESTER – Three more Ocean County residents have been arrested and charged with possession of drugs following a traffic stop in the Pine Lake Park section of the township on October 5. Manchester officers discovered cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $3,394 in the vehicle.

Members of the Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) observed the occupants in the vehicle, located in the 1200 block of Twelfth Avenue, meet with another individual for a short period of time before leaving.

A traffic stop on Champlain Street and search of the vehicle and its two occupants led officers to find approximately 2 grams of separately packaged bags of cocaine, 31 oxycodone pills, a small amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $3,394. The third individual was also in possession of 1 gram of methamphetamine, two forms of suboxone, and drug paraphernalia.

The driver was Jerron Evans, 35, of Brick. Evans was charged with two counts of Possession of Oxycodone, Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone, Possession of drug Paraphernalia, Hindering Evidence by Concealment, and Loitering to Distribute CDS.

Also in the vehicle was Asia Taylor, 26, of Lakewood. Taylor was charged with one count each of Possession and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Hindering Evidence by Concealment, Hindering by Providing False Information, and Loitering to Distribute CDS. She also has multiple outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions.

The third individual was identified as Michael Goodman, 37, of Manchester. Goodman was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, two counts of Possession of Suboxone, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Loitering to Purchase CDS.

Evans and Taylor were held in Ocean County Jail while Goodman was released on a summons.
