UPDATE 2 P.M. According to Manchester Township Police, the road is now open to traffic.
MANCHESTER – Motorists who take Route 530 through Whiting and Berkeley will need to find an alternate route Tuesday.
The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department put out an alert that the road, between Whiting and Robert J. Miller Air Park in Berkeley, will be closed in both directions due to utility work.
Manchester Township Police suggest motorists use Route 70.
