Ocean County Man Arrested On Drug Charges

  LAKEHURST – A call for an unwanted guest yielded the arrest of a Lakehurst man on drug charges over the weekend.

  On April 26, police responded to a report of an unwanted guest at a Lakehurst residence where they identified 22-year old Scott W. Parker and Thea M. Deehan. Further investigation discovered that both had warrants for their arrest, Deehan’s in Lakehurst and Parker’s in Bordentown City. Both Parker and Deehan were placed under arrest.

  An investigation also revealed multiple wax folds containing suspected heroin, a hypodermic needle, a crack pipe and other drug paraphernalia on the scene which police traced back to Parker. Both individuals were brought to Lakehurst Police Headquarters for processing.

  Deehan was processed and released pending a mandatory court appearance with the Lakehurst Municipal Court.

  Parker was processed and charged with Possession of Heroin, Hindering by Concealment of

Evidence, Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Being Under the Influence of a Controlled Dangerous Substance without a Prescription. He was issued a warrant for the charges and remains lodged at the Ocean County Jail pending a court appearance.
