MANCHESTER – The sounds of freedom will be heard around Ocean County as Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst announces their January training calendar.
JBMDL released the information over social media channels so that the locals know what to expect when excessive noise comes from the base. Often times, concerned residents call the police when they hear the noise and feel the ground shake, so this is an effort to free up the phone lines.
The calendar is broken down into three categories: slight noise, moderate noise and abundant noise. January is mostly quiet. The only really noisy day planned is January 20, which also happens to be the day of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration in Washington, D.C.
