MANCHESTER – A driver involved in striking a pedestrian with their vehicle and fleeing was arrested shortly thereafter, police said.
The incident took place at Commonwealth Boulevard near Oakdale Street, police said. The injuries do not appear to be life-threatening at this time.
Police said they received a description of the vehicle and located it on Mule Road. The Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CSI unit is investigating.
