
LAKEHURST — A Manchester Township man faces multiple criminal charges after police say he threatened another person with knives during a reported fight in Lakehurst on December 19.
According to the Lakehurst Police Department, officers were dispatched to the Cedar Street area at approximately 10:19 a.m. for a report of a physical altercation involving a weapon. When police arrived, they made contact with two individuals at the scene.
Investigators identified one of the parties as Noah Jackson, 22, of Manchester. Police said Jackson was uncooperative and refused to comply with officers’ commands as they attempted to assess the situation.
During the investigation, officers discovered that Jackson was carrying two folding-style knives considered dangerous weapons, police said. Authorities allege Jackson made threats to kill the other individual involved and brandished the knives during the confrontation. Police further reported that Jackson attempted to discard the weapons as the investigation unfolded.
Jackson was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was charged with simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, making terrorist threats, hindering apprehension, and obstructing the administration of law.
Following processing, Jackson was released on a summons in accordance with New Jersey’s bail reform guidelines, police said.

All charges are accusations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
