Utility Pole In Roadway Leads To Closure And Delays

JACKSON – Motorists should find another route for the next 8-12 hours, Jackson Police said.

Whitesville Road between South Hope Chapel and Grawtown roads is closed. A Jackson Police official told Jersey Shore Online a utility pole is down, but could offer no other information.

“Use caution when traveling in the area,” the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department said.
