JACKSON – A two-month, multi-agency investigation into narcotics distribution in Ocean County led to the arrests of two Trenton residents earlier this month, authorities said.

Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer announced that detectives identified Seption Diggs, 30, and Ahmia Tillery, 26, as distributing heroin and cocaine in the region. The investigation involved the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, FBI’s Jersey Shore Safe Streets Task Force, DEA–HIDTA Group 5, Ocean County Sheriff’s Office units, and multiple Jackson Township police divisions.

On Aug. 5, investigators tracked Diggs in Trenton and saw him meet with Tillery before entering her vehicle, according to Billhimer. Jackson Township police stopped the car after it entered the township, and both suspects were taken into custody without incident. A court-authorized search of the vehicle turned up about 2,450 doses of heroin and 43 grams of cocaine.

Diggs was charged with multiple counts of possession and distribution of heroin and cocaine, conspiracy, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He remains in custody at the Ocean County Jail. Tillery faces the same charges but was released under New Jersey’s bail reform guidelines after being processed.

Billhimer credited the coordinated efforts of federal, county and local law enforcement agencies for the successful operation. “This investigation is yet another example of what can be accomplished when law enforcement agencies work together toward a common goal,” he said.
