JACKSON – Jackson Township saw two accidents in the early hours of the morning, both near County Route 527.
Jackson Police Captain Steve Laskiewicz reported that at 6:14 a.m., a dump truck veered off the roadway and into a ditch on Whitesville Road near Grawtown Road. The 2015 dump truck was operated by a 58-year old male.
No injuries were reported and the driver has been issued summons for careless driving.
A little later, around 6:57 a.m., an accident occurred on Whitesville Road at South Hope Chapel Road. According to Laskiewicz, the 40-year old female driver was arrested at the scene for an outstanding warrant out of Holmdel. She has been processed and released pending a court date.
No injuries were reported and no other details are available at this time, he added.
