JACKSON — The Jackson Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an act of vandalism at the newly installed pickleball court in Woodland Park.
The incident, believed to have occurred around June 13, caused significant damage to the court surface, including tire marks, a gouge in the flooring, and harm to the surrounding fence and locking mechanism.
Surveillance footage from a nearby Ring camera captured a male suspect operating a red four-wheel ATV. Police say the suspect may have been carrying a bicycle or scooter on the back of the vehicle.
Authorities are hoping someone in the community may recognize the ATV or its rider. Anyone with information is asked to contact P.O. Jonathan Pauciullo at 732-928-1111 or via email at jpauciullo@jacksontwpnj.net.
The Jackson Police Department reminds the public that all individuals charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
