Motorcycle Crash In Jackson, Victim Airlifted To Hospital

JACKSON – Police continue to investigate an accident where a motorcyclist was airlifted from the scene to Jersey Shore University Medical Center on August 5, according to police.

Kenneth Blanchet of Allentown collided with a Dodge Ram after losing control of his motorcycle, a 2011 Harley Davidson. Blanchet was traveling south on Toms River Road when the accident occurred and was later airlifted from the scene at Toms River Road and Whitecomb Avenue

Jackson Police officials stated that Blanchet crossed over the center line and back again while driving when he collided with the driver’s side of the Dodge.

The vehicle was stopped when it was hit. The driver, Michael Estelle of Jackson, was evaluated for injuries at the scene. According to police, Estelle refused any further medical attention but was later flown by medevac helicopter to JSUMC.
