JACKSON – A Jackson man has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that occurred in Old Bridge last week.

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office named 43-year old Michael Panariello on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

On August 29, police responded to Route 9 northbound near County Route 516 and Old Bridge Road in Old Bridge for reports of an accident with injuries. Panariello fell victim to the fatal accident while on his way to work, according to a GoFundMe site created for his memorial.

The GoFundMe page has raised $34,505 as of Sept. 5, greatly exceeding its $1,000 goal. According to the site, Panariello “was a dedicated family man and a wonderful human being.”
