OLD BRIDGE – A 49-year-old Jackson Township man died in an early morning crash on Route 9 Monday, authorities said.
The man, identified as Steven Frizzola, struck the back of a tractor trailer around 3:30 a.m. on Route 9 North at Old Mill Road. Frizzola was driving a white 2017 Nissan Sentra. The car spun across the highway and came to rest in the southbound lanes.
Police said Frizzola was pronounced dead at the scene.
