Jackson Death Confirmed A Suicide

JACKSON – The death of a 39-year-old township man was ruled a suicide, police said.

Jackson Township Police received a phone call around 10 a.m. Tuesday of a man threatening suicide with a gun.

The man was not at home when police arrived. His vehicle was located at Jackson Premium Outlets, where he was found dead with a single gunshot wound.

The investigation is ongoing.

There is no danger to the general public, Captain Steven Laskiewicz said.
