JACKSON – A GoFundMe fundraiser has been set up for a family who lost their husband and father Aug. 9.

The page explains that Robin, Morgan and Brittany Linke made the difficult decision to take Frank Linke off life support after he suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Robin, Frank’s wife, is a secretary at McAuliffe Middle School.

“Financial hardships and medical expenses have plagued the Linke family. Please help to alleviate the financial strain as they cope with the loss of their husband and father,” the page said.

The family is asking for the contributions to the fund in lieu of flowers, which will help offset the cost of funeral services and medical expenses.

A service will be held 4-8 p.m. Aug. 13 at George S. Hassler Funeral Home in Jackson.

At publication time, the fund had raised $6,666 of the requested $15,000 goal.
